5 unique ways to build a Healthy morning routine

Experts say that you need a established routine to be successful and healthy…

But that is not fully true.

The only problem about not having a conscious morning routine is that we have a reactive one. Meaning that we are not in full control of how we want our morning or day to be.

There are many reasons why we may not start one:

Time, patience, motivation, no planning…

I put together some tips on how to get started when building your healthy morning routine from 0:

1. There isn’t one fits all: Your healthy morning routine relies on what makes you feel good

The point of it is that is works for you, and sets you with the right frame of mind for the day.
You don’t leave it up to chance.

Focusing in something you choose will give you a sense of control and achievement.

Here some examples:

Drinking water, exercising, meditation, breathing, journaling…

2. Start Simple: Choose one thing you want include into your morning routine.

To build motivation it is very useful to list the benefits that will bring to your day. So take some time to connect with those, write them down and keep them as a reminder for the hard times.

Ultimately, we only take on the habits that bring us something positive. So convince yourself of why they are and you will have your brain on your side.

3. Plan your healthy morning:

To ensure you make it happen fix a realistic date and time to start. Make it a word to yourself, for yourself.

Ensure it is sustainable and plan what cane set you to do it.

Where possible plan a back up to ensure it happens.

Things that can help you: Calendar reminders, alarm, post its… Telling someone.

 

4. Flexibility: Adapting the routine to the time you have it’s almost most important.

Another useful thing to do is stacking a new habit to an already stablished one.

For example: Saying an affirmation after we brush your teeth is a good way to get used to it.

5. Remember to be your own cheerleader!

The key to success is in you mindset. To get started you need time and support.

What you tell yourself, acknowledging progress over perfection, and stop beating yourself up!! Focus on the positive, because you are doing a lot!

And you WILL do it.
